The blind faces of Del Bono

Del Bono is a really skilled painter who realizes his artworks with acrylic paint: those who are inside painting know how difficult it is to create realistic works in acrylic (and not in oil). It is a long and hard work.

His preferred subject is the famale face with the eyes covered by different objects: the object gives the expression that lacks from the eyes.

This pecualiar idea of Del Bono projects him in the "pop-art" field but the definition is not enough for his art, since also hyperrealism is part of his work.

Many artworks here: http://www.vecchiatoarte.com/en/artist/1310_del-bono-severino
